Festival Repercussão

Since 2015 Lama and Afrokata co-organize Festival Repercussão in Brussels, of which the last two editions were held outside in the neighbourhood of Saint Gilles, Afrokata’s stronghold. The festival offers percussion and dance workshops, a parade in the street and ends with a day of concerts in which several percussion groups participate, including Lama’s Atabaxé project. Repercussão is based on social mixing, ‘métissage’, and conviviality.
